1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Strategic Planning Academy. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website, courses, materials, and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

Strategic Planning Academy reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Educational Services

Strategic Planning Academy provides educational courses, workshops, and materials related to strategic planning and business management. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we do not guarantee that our content will be error-free or that results from using our materials will meet your specific expectations.

Course materials, including videos, documents, presentations, and worksheets, are provided for educational purposes only. The content does not constitute professional business, financial, or legal advice. We recommend consulting with appropriate professionals for advice specific to your organization's needs.

Enrollment in our courses is subject to availability and payment of applicable fees. Strategic Planning Academy reserves the right to modify course content, scheduling, and pricing at any time.

3. User Accounts

Some features of our services may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update your information to keep it accurate and current. Strategic Planning Academy reserves the right to terminate your account if any information provided is found to be inaccurate, incomplete, or violates these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use our services. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, materials, and resources provided by Strategic Planning Academy, including but not limited to course materials, videos, documents, presentations, graphics, logos, and trademarks, are the property of Strategic Planning Academy or its licensors and are protected by Canadian and international copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may access and use our materials for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, transmit, or otherwise exploit our materials beyond what is expressly permitted by these Terms without prior written consent from Strategic Planning Academy.

Any unauthorized use of our materials may violate copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws and may result in termination of your access to our services and legal action.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our services:

• In any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• To impersonate or attempt to impersonate Strategic Planning Academy, its employees, or other users
• To engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of our services
• To transmit any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, or other harmful computer code
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our services, systems, or networks
• To collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
• To reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of our services without express written permission

Strategic Planning Academy reserves the right to terminate your access to our services for violation of any of these prohibited uses.

6. Payment and Refund Policy

Payment for courses and services must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. All prices are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise specified.

Our refund policy allows for full refunds within 14 days of purchase for online courses, provided no more than 20% of the course content has been accessed. For in-person workshops, cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the start date will receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations made less than 30 days but more than 14 days prior to the start date will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations less than 14 days prior to the start date.

Strategic Planning Academy reserves the right to offer credits for future courses in lieu of refunds at its discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Strategic Planning Academy and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, regardless of the theory of liability, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for all claims related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to Strategic Planning Academy for services during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Strategic Planning Academy and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of our services.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the Province of Ontario for the resolution of any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or our services.
